Mini-site assignments

Afer seeing Xhtml, CSS, Photoshop and slicing, we were tired. The text was supplied (we were permitted to add to it if we saw fit) as well as the photos and logo. We were given 3,555 days to put this together.

The "client" wanted to attract people to join their club, and of course to book an all-in trip to Hurghada. The club has a particular clientel that is especially interested in underwater photography.

More CSS, layout for web, wireframing, "breaking out of the box", use of sprites: a new challenge- a new site in 5 days.

The assignment "Koken Op Kot" was to make a new Colruyt website for students, encouraging them to cook. The site needed to be fresh and appealing. I chose to make it a with a loose, lived in feel: light-hearted and accessible. I wanted the recipes to be clear and easy to follow, fun and unintimidating.

Fun stuff for loved ones

Exploration for fun, birthday cards, nonsense, and more.

Some illustrations and general merry making. It sure beats Hallmark. Can I say that here?

go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200

collages I made

Once upon a time, there was paper, scissors (or an exacto) and glue

I used to laugh myself silly sometimes. Maybe not as much as I would have liked, but enough.

I bet that a collage made from paper will always have another schwing to it than one from photoshop ... I didn't say better, just different!

Most of this is work from my former life. Lots of dtp work on brochures, instruction manuals, advertisements, usually translated in more languages than you could shake a stick at.

The rest is freelance.

about a quarter past 9

I suppose I can start off with the dry stuff, such as my art education, grahic work experience, etc. I won't go into too much detail here because if you really want to know more about that stuff, you can look at my profile, or download .

I am currently looking for a job where I can expand my knowledge, use my talent and be part of the ever-growing web community.

This portfolio site is a work in progress.
